Starting off at the The Old Ship Hotel, Robin and her bridal buddies were looking the part in no time at all. After capturing some candid preparation shots, it was time to head to the church, where their Brighton wedding photos would kick into full gear. It was here that groom Jonny was waiting and the excitement building on a sunny but blustery summer’s day.
St Mary’s Brighton church wedding ceremony
St Mary’s is a seriously beautiful church and the couple made a fantastic choice booking here. The huge stone columns, stained glass and towering ceiling made for romantic, timeless photos with a beautifully traditional feel. The groomsmen’s photos when we got outside, on the other hand, were anything but the formal portraits of times past!
From Brighton to the Netherlands and back!
After Robin and Jonny’s Brighton church ceremony, food was top of the menu. This couple opted for traditional Dutch food, called bitterballen, which went down a treat!
Refuelled and with infectious grins, they were ready to head out for their Brighton wedding photos. We hit up their favourite hotspots for photos they’ll love for a lifetime. Think strolling along the promenade, posing beside the beach and even an amazing shot in front of the spinning carousel!
These guys were an awesome catch for me to photograph. Relaxed, photogenic and most of all a pleasure to spend time with, you can feel the atmosphere, emotion and energy springing out of their photos. I hope they love them just as much as I do.
